| Chiba Aqualine Marathon Application Terms and Conditions | Chiba Aqualine Marathon Application Terms and Conditions [Please read carefully] Participants must agree to the following application rules before applying. (1) No cancellations or refunds will be made after payment has been completed. (2) False declaration of age, gender, record, etc., or participation by a person other than the applicant (fraudulent entry) will result in cancellation of entry. (3) In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond the control of the organiser, costs such as the entry fee will not be refunded in any way. (4) No refunds will be made for excessive payment or duplicate deposits. (5) The organiser will handle the personal information of participants in compliance with the laws and regulations for the protection of personal information. (6) Please note that duplicate applications for the marathon and the half marathon, and duplicate applications for individual entry, pair entry, and group entry by the same person will be disqualified. (7) If there are any changes to the application details during the application period, please contact the respective department. (8) After the application deadline, no changes in application details, changes in the number of participants in a group competition entry, and cancellations will be allowed. If there is a problem with the application details, the organiser may contact the applicant via the registered e-mail address or telephone number. (9) Please note that no inquiries regarding the application status or drawing results will be entertained. (10) Please read the following clauses regarding the drawing results. 1. Please confirm the results of the drawing by clicking on "エントリー履歴 (Entry History)" on the "マイページ (My Page)" of Sports Entry. Drawing results and payment information will be sent by e-mail after Friday, May 31, 2024. 2. If the number of applicants who have completed the payment procedure does not reach the quota after the payment period, additional applicants may be contacted (on a first-come, first-served basis). Please note that no reconfirmation will be made in the case of non-delivery of the notification due to an incorrectly filled or invalid e-mail address or contact number. (11) No substitute runner or transfer of rights (except for the charity division) is allowed in the competition. If such an act is discovered, the entrant will be disqualified. In such cases, the organiser will not provide any compensation. No refunds will be made. (12) The organiser will not be held responsible for any delays in application due issues such as internet connection problems. (13) Certain devices, operating systems, or browser software, may not allow the submission of applications. (14) The following information is required when applying: Name, gender, date of birth, nationality, address (mailing address), telephone number (daytime contact), e-mail address, past participation in such event (event name, record, etc.), predicted finish time, whether or not you will have a running companion (if so, the reason), emergency contact information (telephone, name, relationship) (15) No receipts will be issued for payments such as the entry fee. (3) No company name, product name, logo or trademark may be displayed or worn at the race venue (including on the course) for the purpose of advertising. (4) Photographs and other materials may be sold on commission to groups authorised by the organisers. (5) Participants may not participate in the competition if they are dressed up in costumes that are detrimental to their health, or if the organisers deem such costumes to fall under this category. (6) In addition to the above, please follow the instructions of the organisers regarding matters related to the competition. (7) The latest information on the competition will be posted on the official website of the Chiba Aqualine Marathon 2024, so please check it regularly. |
| Handling of personal information | (1) The organisers recognise the importance of personal information, complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations, and handles personal information in accordance with the organisers’ personal information protection policy. The information will be used for the purpose of improving the services provided to the competition applicants, such as participation information, record notifications, notification of relevant information, and provision of services from the competition sponsors, cooperating and related organisations. The organisers or contractors may also contact the applicants to confirm the details of the application. (2) The organisers reserve the right to publish images, photographs, articles, the applicants' names, ages and addresses (countries, prefectures or cities) on TV, newspapers, magazines and the internet, and the right of portrait. (3) The applicant may be asked to cooperate with the organisers' measures against infectious diseases, including the acquisition of personal information and provision of such information to health centres and medical institutions. |
