Qualifications | ■Full marathon participants must be 18 year of age or older on the race day. Please note that high school students are not accepted. ●General Runners: men and women, including the disabled who don’t require a wheelchair, who are able to finish the entire distance within 5 hours 45 minutes. ※Athletes invited by the race director are included in this category. ■Half marathon participants must be 18 years of age or older on the race day. ● Elite Runners:men and women, including the disabled who don’t require a wheelchair, who are able to finish the entire distance within 1 hour 30 minutes. ※Athletes invited by the race director are included in this category. ■10km participants must be 16 years of age or older on the race day. ●General Runners Division: men and women who are able to finish the entire distance within 1 hour 30 minutes. ●Disabled Division: men and women who are able to finish the entire distance within 1 hour 30 minutes. Visibly Impaired (Capacity – 50), Mentally Impaired (Capacity – 100), Transplant Recipients (Capacity- 50) ※Transplant Recipients Division is for people who have received organ, bone marrow or cornea transplant. ●Wheelchair Division: Male and female wheelchair racers who are able to finish the entire distance within 45 minutes (Only racing wheelchairs are allowed.) Participants in this category must have the identification booklet for the disabled. (Capacity – 50 ) ■Family Fun Run(2km) ●4th - 6th Graders Division: 4th- 6th grade boys and girls who are able to finish the entire distance within 30 minutes. ●Parent and Child Teams Division: Parent (father or mother) and child (1st -3rd grade boy or girl) teams that are able to finish the entire distance within 30 minutes. ※Those who have medical conditions (heart disease, injury, etc.) are advised to consult with a doctor to make sure that it’s safe to participate in this event. |

Cut-off Times | Due to traffic, safety and race management reasons, participants who fail to cross the start gate in 30 minutes after the start gun will be disqualified. A bus will follow the last runner at the pace to make it justin time for the finish time limit (15:30 at Oiso Prince Hotel). When caught up by that, runners may be stopped on the course before cut-off points (disqualified) and instructed to get on the bus immediately. Awards | Overall awards will be given to top 6 of each race category. As for full marathon, age-group awards will be given to Top 3 in each age category. Age-group awards will be mailed to winners later. There is no awards for Famly Fun Run. |

Access | 【Train】 Ninomiya station and Oiso station are the closest train stations to the event site. There will be extra trains. For further information, please see the participatnts’ guide. 【Free Shuttle Bus】 From either of the nearest stations, it takes about 35 minutes by walk. Free shuttle busses may operate from the arrival time of the first outbounbd train on the race day. For further information, please see the participatnts’ guide. 【Paid Direct Bus】 There will be paid direct bus services to the event site from Shinjuku, Omiya, Chiba, Yokohama, Machida, Ebina, Ofuna, etc. Bus tickets must be reserved in advance. Further details will be informed in late September. 【Car/ Motorcycle/ Bicycle】 Please DO NOT drive or have your family or friend drive you to the event. If you arrive to the event site by bicycle, please use the designated location to keep your bike. Notes | ・Please read this event outline carefully before entering. ・Providing false information, such as age or gender, or running with other runner’s number card is prohibited. Failing to abide by these rules will result in disqualification and ban from future races. Providing untruthful estimated finish time is prohibited and may result in disqualification and ban from future races. ・Once the entry is confirmed, entrants may not change events or cancel their entry. It is not allowed for one runner to enter into multiple divisions. ・In case of address change, please notify the race director. ・Entry fee and transaction fee are not refundable. ・The race director may ask runners to produce their certificate of residence. ・The race director reserves the right to cancel the event due to inclement weather, accident, disease outbreak, etc. In such event, entry fee and transaction fee will not be refunded. ・Runners should be well-trained and in good health condition to participate in the event. It is advised to take medical check-up before the race. ・The race is insured under a sports accident insurance. ・The race director will not be responsible for any accidents, such as medical issues, injuries and loss/theft of personal items. Treatment provided by the race director will be FIRST AID TREATMENT ONLY. ・Participants who have become unable to continue running without medical assistance, such as IV and wheelchair, will be deemed to have dropped out of the race and disqualified. ・The decision of whether they are able to continue or not will be made by a doctor or medical staff at the scene, giving considerations to health risks. Participants must accept this decision and follow instructions. In some cases, a doctor or medical staff will make sure that the participant understands that he or she will be disqualified before starting the treatment. ・Participant understand that the event’s video footages, photographs and result may be used for such media as TV, newspaper, magazine, online article, future event’s poster/brochure and the event’s official website. Upon submitting the entry form, participants are deemed to have agreed that their image may be used for above-specified media. Participants are also deemed to have agreed not to give the race director any objection as to the use of their image. ・Visibly impaired runners in any category may have a guide runner. Pushing a baby stroller is not allowed on the course. For more details, please contact the race director. ・The event site is not accessible by any motor vehicles. Dropping off runners at the event site is also prohibited. (There will not be parking space available at the event site.) ・This race will be held in support for people in the disaster-affected areas of Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster. The race director also correct donations on the race day. ・Public excretion, including urination, will be subject to disqualification. During the participation in this event, participants are expected to have good public manners and abide by rules. The event will have portable toilets, so make sure to use these facilities or public bathrooms. Public excretion is prohibited by penal law. Participants who are found to have offended this rule will be disqualified, removed from the course immediately and banned from future events. Serious offences may be reported to the law enforcement authority. ・The race director will not answer questions on the phone regarding the entry status or individual entry look-up. ・Participants must follow instructions given by the event organizer, director or other stuffs. Failing to do so may result in disqualification. ・All personal information gathered by the event organizer is strictly used for the purpose of the race and may not be used in any other purpose and is protected by the law. ・The personal information collected from participants will be used to further improve the event, for communications from the race director to participants, to announce the result (ranking, etc.), to send results to participants and to be included in the next year’s brochure. |
